Brittney Brown, LPC-A, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Arlette J. Back, LPC-S, with five years of experience in educational settings. Brittney gained experience during her practicum and internship working with children in school settings, as well as adults facing challenges related to substance use disorders, PTSD, and grief.

She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting clients through challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, and personal growth. Brittney brings a compassionate, structured, and developmentally-informed approach to therapy, creating a safe space for clients to explore and heal.

My Story

Brittney began her career in elementary education, where she developed a deep passion for supporting the emotional and developmental needs of her students. Over time, she realized that her desire to help extended beyond the classroom and into the mental and emotional well-being of individuals. This calling led her to pursue a career in counseling, where she could work more directly with those struggling with mental health challenges and provide the tools and support they need to heal and grow.

As a counselor, Brittney specializes in helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She is particularly passionate about teaching emotional regulation skills that empower individuals to respond to life’s challenges in healthier, more intentional ways. Her goal is to help clients feel more in control of their minds and bodies, equipping them with strategies to foster resilience, self-awareness, and lasting positive change.
